FAQs

  • Each session is 50 minutes for both individual and couples and diverse relationship therapy. 75 and 90 min sessions are also available. If you’re new to therapy, learn more about the session time here.

  • Therapy sessions are offered on a weekly basis, but the length of therapy is up to you. The decision to continue or end therapy is completely under your control. I may suggest frequency changes based on your established goals.

  • Currently, I see clients in-person on Thursdays in Pasadena and I offer telehealth therapy via virtual video sessions, which are HIPAA compliant. I am hoping to have office space in Spring or Summer 2024.

Please note that as a registered therapist in California, I can only work with individuals residing in California.

  • My 50 min session fees are $180 for individual therapy and $200 for couples or diverse relationships. Please inquire for pricing for 75 or 90 min sessions. Limited sliding scale options are available for women, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ individuals. Please note that session cancellations or rescheduling must be done 24 hours before the scheduled time or a full session fee will be charged.

  • Unfortunately, I do not accept insurance currently. However, I can provide you with a “superbill”, which you can submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement. Please note that not all insurance providers reimburse for mental health services. Before starting therapy, please confirm your out-of-network policies and potential reimbursement with your insurance provider.

  • There is no grade or scorecard for therapy. This is a challenging journey of self-discovery and introspection with no right or wrong way to do it. The best results come from being committed to the process and embracing the discomfort that may arise from it. It’s important to remember that change will always involve risk and that can be terrifying. If you’re ready to take those steps with me, great. If not, that’s okay too.
